Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We have written it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
This website is run by Boring Website Company, a trading name of Birchall Reality Ltd, based at Birch House Business Centre, Lon Parcwr, Ruthin, Denbighshire, LL15 1NA. For anything to do with your data, email us at hello@boringwebsitecompany.com. Birchall Reality Ltd is the data controller.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through our enquiry form. That can include your name, your business name, your email address, and any other details you decide to share, such as your phone number, where you are based, what your business does, and notes about the website you want.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell your data. If we ever add analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly, aggregated kind that does not identify you personally, and we will say so here first.
Why we collect it
We use the details you send us for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to deliver and look after your website. Our lawful basis for this is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
How it is stored
Your enquiry is sent to us by email and may be stored securely by our hosting and email providers so we do not lose it. We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to help you, and we delete them when they are no longer needed.
Sharing
We do not share your information with third parties for marketing. We only use trusted providers to host the site and deliver email, and they only process your data on our instructions.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email us and we will sort it out. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. If that changes, we will update this page first.
Changes
If we change this policy, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
